When it is time for a new screen
Not sure whether the problem is with the screen? Bring the phone in for free diagnostics.
Cracked or shattered glass
On an iPhone the glass and the display are fused into one part, so they are replaced together. Dust and moisture get in through the cracks.
Black spots that spread
The display itself under the glass is damaged, usually after a drop or pressure on the screen. The spot normally grows over time.
Lines, stripes, flickering
A green or purple line is a common sign of a damaged OLED screen, even when the glass is intact.
Unresponsive screen or “ghost touch”
Part of the screen does not register touch or the phone opens apps by itself. If a restart does not help, the fault is in the screen.
Which screen should you choose?
After a repair, iPhone records the type of part installed in Settings › General › About › Parts and Service History. The options are grouped by the message shown there.
Aftermarket or unrecognized part
About › Parts and Service HistoryDisplayUnknown PartUsually the most affordable option: a tested, good-quality aftermarket part or a genuine part that iOS labels “Unknown”. The phone works normally either way.

Genuine, previously installed
About › Parts and Service HistoryDisplayOriginal UsedA genuine Apple part previously linked to another device in Apple's database. It is a genuine part at a lower price than a new service pack part.

New genuine Apple part
About › Parts and Service HistoryDisplayOriginal GenuineA new genuine Apple part, the same as the one installed at the factory. The phone labels it “Genuine”.
Genuine Apple Service Pack - for 6 models
No message in Settings
About › Parts and Service HistoryDisplayno special messageAfter the replacement the phone shows no special message about this part. This is the case on older models and for parts whose replacement iOS does not track.

Replacing the glass or the whole screen?
On an iPhone, the glass, the touch layer and the display are fused into one part at the factory. That is why cracked glass means replacing the whole screen, not just the glass. After the repair the phone looks as it did before the damage.
We use only tested parts: genuine Apple screens and high-quality aftermarket screens from trusted manufacturers. The choice is yours, and we explain the difference between the options before we do anything.

FAQ
How long does a screen replacement take?
Usually 1-3 hours, so you collect your phone the same day. Call before you come so we can check that the screen for your model is in stock.
Do Face ID and True Tone work after the replacement?
Yes. Face ID and True Tone work after the screen replacement.
What does the “Unknown Part” message mean after the replacement?
Since iOS 15.2, iPhone has recorded Parts and Service History in Settings. The “Unknown Part” message means the phone does not recognize the installed screen as a genuine Apple part. “Which screen should you choose?” and the page for each model explain which message appears with each option.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty lasts 6 months and covers a fault or failure of the fitted screen. It does not cover physical damage after the repair, such as a knock, a drop or liquid damage. For screens this applies to all layers, not just the glass. If the glass stays intact after a knock but spots or lines appear, that is also impact damage.
Can I use my phone with a cracked screen?
For a while, yes, but we do not recommend waiting long. Dust and moisture get in through the cracks, sharp glass can cut your finger, and the damage often spreads to the display under the glass.
Are diagnostics free?
Yes. The inspection and diagnostics are free. If we cannot repair the device or solve the problem, we do not charge for the service.
Will I lose my data?
No. Our repairs do not require erasing the device. Photos, apps, documents and settings stay where they were.
Do you need my passcode?
Not for a screen or battery replacement. For camera replacement or logic board repair, we usually need it to test all the device’s functions. You can still choose to test those functions yourself at our repair shop, although this may take longer.
Can I send the device instead of coming in?
Yes. With iPickUp we collect the device from your address and bring it back repaired. The service costs 1,500 RSD and is available in the Belgrade area. Call us to book it.
When are you open?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 16:00. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. You will find us at Kosovska 28, in Stari Grad.
