FAQ
How long does an Apple Watch battery replacement take?
Usually 1-3 days. Call before you come so we can check that the battery for your model is in stock.
What if the watch screen is lifting?
It means the battery has swollen. Do not charge the watch or press the screen. Bring it in as soon as possible.
Does the Apple Watch stay water resistant after a battery replacement?
On the Apple Watch the battery is replaced by removing the screen, so after the replacement the watch is closed again and sealed with suitable adhesive, to restore protection against water and moisture as far as possible. However, since the device was opened during the repair, it is not possible to guarantee that it will keep exactly the same level of water resistance it had as a new device, which was assembled and tested by machine in the factory under controlled conditions. For that reason, after a battery replacement we do not recommend exposing the device to water, submerging it or using it for swimming.
Are diagnostics free?
Yes. The inspection and diagnostics are free. If we cannot repair the device or solve the problem, we do not charge for the service.
Will I lose my data?
No. Our repairs do not require erasing the device. Photos, apps, documents and settings stay where they were.
Do you need my passcode?
Not for a screen or battery replacement. For camera replacement or logic board repair, we usually need it to test all the device’s functions. You can still choose to test those functions yourself at our repair shop, although this may take longer.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty lasts 6 months and covers a fault or failure of the fitted part. It does not cover physical damage after the repair, such as a knock, a drop or liquid damage.
Can I send the device instead of coming in?
Yes. With iPickUp we collect the device from your address and bring it back repaired. The service costs 1,500 RSD and is available in the Belgrade area. Call us to book it.
When are you open?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 16:00. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. You will find us at Kosovska 28, in Stari Grad.
