Speaker, earpiece and microphone
The iPhone has an earpiece at the top of the screen, a speaker at the bottom and several microphones. Any of them can fail after a drop, water damage or because of dirt clogging the mesh.
Cleaning or replacing the part usually fixes the problem. If the parts work and there is still no sound, the fault is on the logic board and requires logic board repair.

FAQ
Could it be a software problem?
Sometimes. Before coming in, check whether Bluetooth is on, as sound may be routed to headphones, and whether restarting helps. If the problem persists, we run diagnostics to find out whether the fault is in a part or on the logic board.
Does cleaning the speaker help?
Often it does. Dust and grease clog the speaker and earpiece meshes, so the sound becomes quiet. Do not clean them with a needle or sharp objects.
Are diagnostics free?
Yes. The inspection and diagnostics are free. If we cannot repair the device or solve the problem, we do not charge for the service.
Will I lose my data?
No. Our repairs do not require erasing the device. Photos, apps, documents and settings stay where they were.
Do you need my passcode?
Not for a screen or battery replacement. For camera replacement or logic board repair, we usually need it to test all the device’s functions. You can still choose to test those functions yourself at our repair shop, although this may take longer.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty lasts 6 months and covers a fault or failure of the fitted part. It does not cover physical damage after the repair, such as a knock, a drop or liquid damage.
Can I send the device instead of coming in?
Yes. With iPickUp we collect the device from your address and bring it back repaired. The service costs 1,500 RSD and is available in the Belgrade area. Call us to book it.
When are you open?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 16:00. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. You will find us at Kosovska 28, in Stari Grad.
