When it is time for a new battery
“Service Recommended”
The battery menu or System Settings › Battery shows that the battery needs service.
Works only when plugged in
The laptop shuts down as soon as you unplug the charger, or the percentage drops suddenly.
The case is lifting
The trackpad is stiff, the laptop rocks or the bottom case has lifted. That is a sign the battery has swollen: stop using the laptop. Bring it in as soon as possible.
How to check battery health
Click the battery icon in the menu bar or open System Settings › Battery. If it says service is recommended, the battery has lost much of its capacity and it is time for a replacement.

Every part we replace comes with a 6-month warranty. If we don't fix the fault, you pay nothing.
FAQ
How long does a MacBook battery replacement take?
Usually 1-3 days. Call before you come so we can check that the battery for your model is in stock.
What if the battery has swollen?
Turn the laptop off and do not charge it. Bring it in as soon as possible. A swollen battery can damage the trackpad, the keyboard and the case.
Are diagnostics free?
Yes. The inspection and diagnostics are free. If we cannot repair the device or solve the problem, we do not charge for the service.
Will I lose my data?
No. Our repairs do not require erasing the device. Photos, apps, documents and settings stay where they were.
Do you need my passcode?
Not for a screen or battery replacement. For camera replacement or logic board repair, we usually need it to test all the device’s functions. You can still choose to test those functions yourself at our repair shop, although this may take longer.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty lasts 6 months and covers a fault or failure of the fitted part. It does not cover physical damage after the repair, such as a knock, a drop or liquid damage.
Can I send the device instead of coming in?
Yes. With iPickUp we collect the device from your address and bring it back repaired. The service costs 1,500 RSD and is available in the Belgrade area. Call us to book it.
When are you open?
We are open Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 16:00. We are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. You will find us at Kosovska 28, in Stari Grad.
