FAQ - iPhone 13
How much does a screen replacement cost for the iPhone 13?
From 8,500 RSD (InCell LCD - High Quality) to 18,200 RSD (Genuine Apple Part - Removed from a New Device), depending on the part you choose. The price includes the part and installation.
How long does a screen replacement take on the iPhone 13?
Usually 1-3 hours. Call before coming in so we can check whether the part for the iPhone 13 is in stock. This lets you drop off and collect the device without waiting for the part.
How can I check whether I have the iPhone 13?
In Settings, under General › About, tap Model Number - a number starting with the letter A will appear. For the iPhone 13 it is A2482, A2631, A2634, A2635 or A2633. The iPhone 13 was released in 2021, with the A15 Bionic chip.
Is only the glass or the whole screen replaced on the iPhone 13?
The whole screen. On the iPhone 13 the glass, touch layer and display are fused into one part at the factory, so they are replaced together. That is why the price covers the whole screen assembly, not just the glass.
What will the iPhone 13 show in Settings after a screen replacement?
In iOS 15.2 and later, iPhone records repairs in Settings › General › About › Parts and Service History. On the iPhone 13, the InCell LCD - High Quality option shows “Unknown Part”. The Genuine Apple Part - Removed from a New Device option shows “Original Used”. Despite the “Unknown Part” message, the phone works normally if the replacement screen is of good quality.
Does Face ID work after a screen replacement on the iPhone 13?
Yes. The Face ID camera and sensors are not part of the screen; they stay in the top part of the phone, so they are not replaced with the screen. If Face ID worked before the repair, it works after it too.
Is the screen on the iPhone 13 the same as on the iPhone 13 Pro?
No. Both have a 6.1″ display, but the iPhone 13 Pro has ProMotion (120 Hz), while the iPhone 13 does not, so the parts are not interchangeable.
Can I use the iPhone 13 with a cracked screen?
For a while, yes, but we don't recommend waiting long. The iPhone 13 has an OLED screen, and impact damage can spread over time: lines or dark spots can appear and grow, and the screen may start registering touches on its own. Dust and moisture can also enter through the cracks.
How long is the warranty on the screen for the iPhone 13?
6 months for every screen option. The warranty covers defects or failure of the installed screen. It does not cover damage caused after the repair by impacts, drops or liquid exposure. This applies to all screen layers: if the glass remains intact after an impact but spots or lines appear, that is also impact damage.
